Choosing Your Arrival Harbor
There are two main arrival harbors on Nusa Penida:
West Harbor – Banjar Nyuh / Toyapakeh
- Located on the western side of Nusa Penida.
- The walk between the jetty and parking area may exceed 300 metres, depending on the landing point and sea conditions.
- The harbor can be busy, particularly during peak travel hours.
East Harbor – Sampalan (Recommended)
- Located on the eastern side of Nusa Penida.
- Offers a shorter onward road transfer to Seven Dreams A Pramana Experience.
- We recommend arriving via Sampalan Harbor for a more convenient journey to our resort but more further distance from or to airport
Recommended Route: Bali Airport → Kusamba Harbor → Sampalan Harbor → Seven Dreams
For guests traveling to our resort, we recommend the Kusamba–Sampalan route, subject to boat availability and operational conditions.
- Distance from Bali Airport to Kusamba Harbor: Approximately 45–48 km.
- Road travel time to Kusamba Harbor: Approximately 90–120 minutes, depending on traffic.
- Fast boat journey: Approximately 18–25 minutes.
- Arrival harbor: Sampalan Harbor, Nusa Penida.
- Transfer from Sampalan Harbor to the resort: Approximately 25–35 minutes.
- Harbor conditions: Fewer boat operators may be available on this route, but it is generally less crowded.
- All journey times are estimates and may vary depending on traffic, weather, sea conditions, and harbor operations.
Vehicle Recommendation for a Comfortable Journey
For guests traveling with more than three people, we generally recommend booking two vehicles to provide a more comfortable journey throughout Nusa Penida.
Our typical seating arrangement is:
- Front seat: 1 passenger.
- Middle row: 2 passengers.
- Third row: Generally reserved for luggage storage.
If four guests prefer to travel in one vehicle, this may be possible depending on the vehicle and luggage volume. However, three passengers would need to share the middle row, as the third row is generally used for luggage.
Some guests are comfortable with this arrangement, while others prefer two vehicles for additional personal space.
As Nusa Penida has winding roads, uphill and downhill sections, and some bumpy areas, a more spacious seating arrangement may be particularly beneficial for guests who are sensitive to motion sickness.
For this reason, we generally recommend a maximum of three guests per vehicle for greater comfort. The final decision is yours, and we will be happy to arrange one or two vehicles according to your preference and availability.

Booking Confirmation
- Please book at least 48 hours in advance to help secure vehicle availability and coordinate the airport transfer, fast boat ticket, and onward transportation.
- All bookings are subject to confirmation by our team and third-party transportation and boat service providers.
- Please provide your flight details, arrival date and time, number of guests, luggage requirements, and any special requests when booking.
Airport Arrival and Last Boat Departure
- From I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali, guests will travel by car to Kusamba Harbor to board a fast boat to Nusa Penida.
- The last fast boat departure is generally around 17:00, and services are generally unavailable after this time. Schedules may vary by operator and route.
- We strongly recommend arriving at Bali Airport at least 3–4 hours before the last scheduled boat departure at 17:00 to allow sufficient time for airport procedures, immigration where applicable, baggage collection, road travel, and harbor check-in.
- If your flight arrives too late to catch the last boat, an overnight stay in Bali may be necessary before continuing to Nusa Penida the following day.
Package Capacity and Additional Charges
- The package price includes services for 2 persons.
- Additional guests will incur a charge of IDR 275,000 per person, subject to confirmation and availability.
- Additional vehicles required for larger groups will incur extra charges, subject to the confirmed quotation.
Pricing
- All quoted prices are inclusive of 21% tax and service charge.
- Any additional services, vehicles, or customized arrangements will be quoted and confirmed before booking.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled pick-up time are eligible for a full refund, subject to the confirmed booking terms.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time incur a 50% charge.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before pick-up are subject to confirmation under the applicable booking terms.
- Boat cancellations, delays, or rescheduling due to adverse weather or unsafe sea conditions will be handled according to the relevant boat operator's policy.
Luggage Handling at the Harbor
- Our driver will assist with luggage up to the boat operator's check-in counter.
- Once check-in is completed and the boarding pass has been issued, guests are responsible for carrying their own luggage and personal belongings to the boat.
- The jetty and boarding area are restricted to passengers holding valid tickets and boarding passes. Our driver is not permitted to enter the restricted area beyond the check-in counter.
- Boat porters may be available to assist with luggage, subject to availability and capacity. Porter assistance cannot be guaranteed.
- After assisting with check-in, the driver's service will be completed. Guests should wait for the boarding announcement or further instructions from the boat staff.
Travel Conditions and Accessibility
- The estimated travel time between Sampalan Harbor and the resort is approximately 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.
- Nusa Penida has winding roads, uphill and downhill sections, and some bumpy areas. Guests who are sensitive to motion sickness may prefer a more spacious seating arrangement.
- Guests with back pain or mobility concerns such us motion sick should consider the road & boat journey, luggage handling, walking distances, and boat boarding arrangements before confirming their travel plans.

Boarding and disembarking may also require stepping between the boat and the jetty, which can be challenging or uncomfortable for guests experiencing back pain, mobility difficulties, or other physical limitations. At some harbors, the walk between the jetty and parking area may also be relatively long.
