To help you plan your journey to Nusa Penida smoothly and comfortably, please note that there are two main arrival harbors on the island: Banjar Nyuh (Toyapakeh area) on the west side and Sampalan on the east side.
As Seven Dreams A Pramana Experience is located in Suana Village on the eastern side of Nusa Penida, we recommend arriving via Sampalan Harbor from Kusamba Harbor, Bali, as this is generally the closest and most convenient route to our property.
Choosing Your Arrival and Departure Harbor
To help you plan your journey to and from Nusa Penida, please note that there are two main harbor options on the island: Banjar Nyuh Harbor (Toyapakeh area) on the west side and Sampalan Harbor on the east side.
As Seven Dreams A Pramana Experience is located in Suana Village on the eastern side of Nusa Penida, we recommend using Sampalan Harbor via Kusamba Harbor for both arrival and departure, as it generally offers the shortest road transfer to our property.
Option 1: Sanur Harbor ↔ Banjar Nyuh Harbor
West side of Nusa Penida
When arriving at Nusa Penida:
- Depart from Sanur Harbor, Bali.
- Arrive at Banjar Nyuh Harbor, Nusa Penida.
- Boat journey: approximately 45–60 minutes.
- Road transfer from Banjar Nyuh Harbor to Seven Dreams: approximately 45–60 minutes.
When departing from Nusa Penida:
- Depart from Banjar Nyuh Harbor.
- Arrive at Sanur Harbor, Bali.
- Boat journey: approximately 45–60 minutes.
- Allow additional time for the road transfer from our resort to Banjar Nyuh Harbor.
Things to consider:
- This route generally offers frequent fast boat departures.
- The harbor can be crowded, particularly during peak travel hours.
- The walk between the jetty and parking area may exceed 300 metres, depending on the landing point and sea conditions.
- Strong currents and changing tides may affect boarding, disembarking, and luggage handling.
Best suited for: Guests staying on the South side of Bali or those who prefer the wider selection of fast boat departures from Sanur.
Option 2: Kusamba Harbor ↔ Sampalan Harbor
East side of Nusa Penida — Recommended for Seven Dreams guests
When arriving at Nusa Penida:
- Depart from Kusamba Harbor, Bali.
- Arrive at Sampalan Harbor, Nusa Penida.
- Boat journey: approximately 20 minutes.
- Road transfer from Sampalan Harbor to Seven Dreams: approximately 25–35 minutes.
When departing from Nusa Penida:
- Depart from Sampalan Harbor.
- Arrive at Kusamba Harbor, Bali.
- Boat journey: approximately 20 minutes.
- Allow approximately 25–35 minutes for the road transfer from Seven Dreams to Sampalan Harbor.
Advantages:
- A shorter onward road transfer between the harbor and our resort.
- A convenient option for guests traveling to or from the eastern side of Nusa Penida.
- A practical alternative for guests who wish to minimize travel time on the island.
Our recommendation: We recommend choosing the Kusamba–Sampalan route for both arrival and departure especially for guest with kids subject to the available boat schedule, ticket availability, and sea conditions.

Booking and Payment Terms
- Full payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your seat, depending on the selected operator.
- Tickets are valid for the selected travel date, departure time, and route.
- Ticket transfers, amendments, and changes of travel date are subject to the operator's terms and conditions.
- Please ensure that all passenger details and travel arrangements are correct before confirming your booking.
Check-in and Departure
- Please arrive at the departure harbor at least 30 minutes before departure, or earlier if required by the boat operator.
- Allow additional time for traffic, parking, ticket collection, check-in, and luggage handling.
- Late arrivals may result in denied boarding or cancellation, subject to the operator's policy.
- Please keep your ticket and identification documents accessible throughout the check-in process.
- If you are connecting to an international or domestic flight from Bali, please allow sufficient time for the boat journey, road transfer, and airport check-in. As a general guideline, allow approximately 4–5 hours from Nusa Penida to Bali Airport, depending on your departure harbor and travel arrangements. Otherwise you are unable to catch the last boat at 17:00
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling conditions depend on the selected boat operator and ticket type.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in accordance with the operator's policy.
- Refund eligibility and applicable charges will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- No-shows and late cancellations may be non-refundable.

- Fares and travel conditions for children vary by operator and route.

Weather and Operational Delays
- Fast boat services are subject to weather, sea conditions, harbor operations, and other operational factors.
- Departures may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled when conditions are considered unsafe. In such circumstances, any available rescheduling or refund arrangements will follow the selected operator's policy.
- We recommend allowing sufficient time between your boat journey and any onward travel arrangements, particularly when connecting to flights.
- You travel crossing the sea would be based on weather, sea conditions, it might be caused the sea sick.
Important Note for Guests with Back Pain or Mobility Concerns: Please note that fast boat journeys may involve movement and vibrations, particularly when sea conditions are rough. Boarding and disembarking may also require stepping between the boat and the jetty, which can be challenging or uncomfortable for guests experiencing back pain, mobility difficulties, or other physical limitations. At some harbors, the walk between the jetty and parking area may also be relatively long. If you have back pain or any mobility concerns such us motion sick, we kindly recommend considering these factors before choosing your route and informing our team in advance so we can assist you in selecting the most suitable travel arrangements.
